Club Championship

Sverre Spoelstra wins the 2006 club championship, flying in from Malmo to defeat 11 year old Brandon "The Wonderkid" Clarke in a tense final. Sevrre remarked afterwards that he felt this was the last time he would be able to defeat Brandon! Brandon was heard to say "He won't beat me next time!"

Harrod Cup Nightmare

7.30pm and Littlethorpe 1 HC captain Graham wonders where his board 1 player is. A quick telephone call reveals that he is at the wrong venue, something for which the aforementioned player has 'previous'!
